I am a 30-year active license Cosmetologist and Barber. I have loved the industry since I was nine years old. Started 1st braiding all the kids in my family and neighborhood. I also, worked in my mom’s nail salon, The Black Box removing polish, preparing the nails, then polishing. I got my license the summer I turned 16 before the State Board of+ Cosmetology required you to have a high school diploma. I graduated high school and immediately received my cosmetology license to do hair from Aladdin Beauty School under The Amazing, super excellent Mrs. Wilanda Blunt in Duncanville, Tx whom I still stay in connect with. From there, I embraced the industry with open arms; I became a salon owner, then a platform artist for Bonner Brothers for about eight years as their lead platform stylist in the Southwest region, where I have traveled the world sharing my craft. I’ve gone on to win and judge hair battles. As I enjoyed the industry I realized I loved teaching and changing lives. In my learning and teaching I believe and stand on we all can learn and be taught you must meet and adjust or customized the lesson to the learner.

My motto is “Failure is NOT an OPTION”.
